why start 1:1 lessons?

1:1 on-ice lessons are essential for a figure skater’s development because they provide focused, individual coaching tailored specifically to the athlete’s needs. In a private session, every minute of ice time is used efficiently to refine technique, correct habits, and build consistency in jumps, spins, footwork, and overall performance quality.

These sessions allow for immediate feedback and adjustments in real time, helping skaters make faster technical progress and develop stronger muscle memory. They also provide a supportive environment where confidence can grow, challenges can be addressed in detail, and training can be fully adapted to the skater’s goals, ensuring maximum progress on the ice.

from my journey to yours

Throughout my career, the 1:1 relationships I had with my coaches played a huge role not only in developing my skating, but also in shaping who I am as a person. Those close coaching connections gave me guidance, support, and belief at key moments, and they created an environment where I felt able to grow, learn, and push myself in a positive way.

That experience is something I really value and want to pass on. I believe athletes thrive when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged, which is why I’m passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where skaters can learn, improve, and enjoy the process. For me, progress should come with enjoyment, confidence, and a sense of freedom to truly blossom in a sport I love.
