Terms and Conditions
By booking, attending, or participating in any figure skating coaching sessions, classes, workshops, or one-to-one lessons through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Participation and Assumption of Risk
Figure skating is a physical activity that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, strains, sprains, and other injuries.
By participating in any class, session, or coaching activity provided by Kristen Spours Olympian, you acknowledge and accept that participation is entirely at your own risk.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and capable of taking part in skating activities safely.
2. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our coaches, instructors, staff, and representatives shall not be held liable for:
Any injury, accident, loss, or damage sustained during or as a result of participation in coaching sessions or classes;
Loss or damage to personal belongings;
Any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
3. Medical Conditions and Injuries
Participants must inform us of any existing injuries, medical conditions, health concerns, or physical limitations before taking part in any session.
By attending a session, you confirm that:
You have disclosed any relevant medical information;
You understand the physical nature of figure skating activities;
You accept responsibility for monitoring your own physical condition during participation.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it may pose a risk to the participant or others.
4. Booking and Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance through our website or approved booking methods.
Full payment may be required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
5. Cancellation Policy
We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
Failure to attend a booked session without notice (“no-show”) will result in the full session fee being charged.
If we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative session or refund will be offered.
6. Arrival and Conduct
Participants should arrive in sufficient time before their scheduled session.
We reserve the right to remove or refuse participation to anyone behaving in an unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate manner without refund.
7. Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate. Guardians should be present during all 1 to 1 bookings.
Parents or guardians accept these Terms on behalf of minors attending sessions.
8. Photography and Media
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. Please notify us in writing before your session if you do not consent to this.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
